got this email from my mom today:
mom: Joe and some fine fellas recently rescued a moose in distress. They saw her in the Matanuska River while driving to and from Chickaloon, and they figured they’d see if they could lend a hand. That is one COLD river, no matter how much fur you have. Pretty cool saving a life!
