Having been indoors most of the day cleaning, settling into the new house, I set out late in the afternoon for some fresh air and to look for some particularly spectacular autumn color. I plan to go far. A long, refreshing walk to discover a vibrantly saturated or delicately decaying instance of colorful plant-life to photograph. I step out of the house and right into a pile of crackly, dried leaves collected by the cold wind at the base of the front steps. A whole fading season of intricately tender and inconceivably radiant color right outside my door. via http://pix.blogtog.com/
