Hard Times
The last few weeks have been some of the toughest I’ve had to deal with as a family guy. The response from people, both business and personal relationships, has been fascinating to witness: people tend to fall into two extremes, very understanding or very concerned with how my situation affects them. There really aren’t people who fall in the middle. I don’t know what to think about this, it’s a bit like being on a fast and watching people eat - as two or more bizarrely disconnected personal realities attempt to share a common reference point, but fail.
